    Default Passport Question

    I don't know where the fuck to post this but I bet it will get the most play here...

    I lost my passport about a year ago... I need a new one ASAP because I'm trying to leave the country really soon. Aren't there some places that will do them in a day or 2? anyone have any experience with this?

    I'm a US citizen and I'm trying to go to england.... do I need a visa?

    print the forms online at the usps.com then go to the post office and expidite it will cost ya but that is the only way

    I got mine in a aweek from usps. I dunno anything about a los tpassport thouhk, i'd call the post office

    Passports take forever. Even a rushed passport usually takes 7-14 days for delivery and they charge you a pretty fee to go along with it.

    Call the Customs office at the airport. I think that they can get you one in a day or two you are going to need a copy of your birth certificate though. I was told that in Dec before I went to Trinidad.

    Its about 200 bucks rushed. I got mine in a week and they told me it would take longer, Just make the date on the form you have to fill out look close so they rush it faster. But if you rleaving soon, better go get it riht away.

    Also some countries you can travel with your Birth Certificate and a valid State ID only. You can call the airline that you are traveling with and let them know the situation and they would let you know if you can or not.

    There is an application at the USPS to do passports. You might want to bring all your info. There is a $60 fee for expedited processing. They process it within 3 days of receipt of the application. As for the losing your passport part.... I think you are required to turn in your old one, I dunno what extras they would make u do.
