Couple of different ways it may act to be honest. If it is blown you may hear rattling or squeeking, vibrations (kind of like a tire out of balance), fluid or caked on dirt on suspension parts/brake lines, excesive suspension travel or bouncing.

well yeah, it bounces, but it always was kind of bouncy, but this was the first time i heard it rattle like that, it would rattle faster as the mph got higher, but the rattlign is only on the back right part of the car.......i'll go buy some shocks, brb

Just look for some caked up dirt/road grime. The fluid in the strut acts like a glue and sticks to everything when it mixes with dirt. It will be pretty obvious when you see it and if it just now went out you might be able to catch it leaking a lil bit.

i have tar on my tire i think, bbut i believe thats from the recent road work they did at my apartment and the new building they are making at work....but imma look for that stuff, i'll even take a pic i guess.
