    Default haha so RandomGuy dropped by tonight...

    to pick up a spare engine block from me for some pieces to get his car up and going. Well here was our problem. Engine block is on a chest inside my garage. His van is at the end of the driveway. Engine weighs about 300-400lbs and its just me and him @ 10:30 at night. So how do we get it down there? Hmm... after much thought and searching, we decided to use a skateboard to get the engine down to the van but well, as luck would have it, it was still a matter of lifting the engine nearly a foot up into the air and into the back of the van. No engine hoist or any of that high tech shiz so after doing a few futile attempts of getting it into the back, I disappeared and come back with a 4x6, kinda planed it and had the engine at an angle, where something bit into the wood - so after awhile we tried again ( after a few more futile attempts ) and its like, past midnight now and its actually going in, we have it almost half way in when Hasan was like " its almost in, I gotta stop my muscles are hurting" and I was like DONT YOU FUCKING STOP ON ME!!! - and so we got it in Then we had to head off to Kroger to grab some kitty litter to clean up the driveway and driving around a curve in my neighborhood... the engine went from one side of his van to the other omg his rear end nearly kicked out and it broke part of his floor and everything ah I dunno, tonight was an entertaining night

    ... and Hasan, I better get that block back

    lol true - prolly also has to do with the instance that there isn't much anywhereo n an engine block per say that you can actually grab properly - like me I was lifting it up from an alternator bracket and a metal oil line lol

    yea true most engines dont have very good places to hold and the throw u off balance or just hurt the fuck out of ur finger tips cause ur holding on with the last bit of ur fingers.

    yea, also just add the net weight of a full oil pan and a flywheel and clutch - that shit ain't exactly light

    lol yeah - the motor just came extra with my Starion, so I never bothered to fiddle with it and didn't know if it did or not, apparently it did ( the engine was resting against the van completely upright and Hasan went to change the radio station and sat down and the van like... dropped 4 inches lol... so yea the block tipped over and oil came out of the dipstick area - its how I found out it had oil in it )

    wow that has to be the almost the most ghetto motor move i have heard of. Doesnt compare to the guy driving home with his motor in his passengar seat lol
