that shit used to piss me off, but now that I work here I know why we do it, and I do it all the damn time. You wanna leave something with me, then it's gonna be at least 8 hours before you get it back. Why? Because I have jobs that were placed weeks before yours. They have priority. By accepting your disk/jump drive/whatever, I am working it in to my schedule. The only way I'm printing it right then is if I have an absolutely empty queue, or you get here at the first 1.5 hours or the last 1.5 hours of my shift, when I'm not really doing any order work. Don't like it? Go in self service and do it yourself.
