    dude i do IT work for a living ... it wasn't a send to 15 people and win a prize email... i physically had my account locked down by EBAY.

    I dont do IT work for a living and ive had similar emails from "eBay" needing my account info to "update" their system. I forwarded the email to the real eBay and they said that it was someone trying to steal my shit... assholes dont know how to earn an honest living...

    no this wasn't an email w/ a link... they said 'YOUR MUTHA FUCKN ACCT IS LOCKED THIS IS WHY'... i open a new window http://www.ebay.com , try to login... SORRY FUCKER YOUR ACCT IS LOCKED CONTACT [email protected]

    i had to sit w/ their online support today to get everything unlocked... :jerkit: it has nothing to do w/ a scam email... someone actually was able to get my login and start posting shit... (actually its my wifes acct, but i use it) but either way i don't think i'm the only one b/c this was out of no where... its just wierd ebay caught the shit... they caught it before i did. no emails were even sent to me regarding listings, so they were that quick which was good but seems fishy like they were hacked or something and not saying anything.

    sorry, didnt know what you did for a living... apparently i was supose to know?

    I have heard of people sending email posing at ebay to say change your password or w/e or your account will be locked. Just trying to look out.
