It just seems to me, as per our discussion, that this skews the numbers. You only have 30% of the people on the forum able to post.
Fazle was able to do it with OT AND he gets subscriptions now (for the new members and features). You can join for free, but in order to get some of the forum's features, you need to pay. It really helps with the site's costs...
