My dad really didn't lol... his phone had died and he left it charging all night and said it still wasn't working. I'm like did you turn it off? "no son, i never turn it off" well... did you atleast try? "no son, I DIDN'T turn it off, it must be broken" ya.... it's always fun makin' your dad look stupid and saving them money at the same time... lol.
