    Default Autozone Employment?

    Well im filling out this application for autozone. Does anyone work there? The manager told me they are hiring for all/any position, so i put any position on the application. Then its says pay expected. What should i put, like $6.50? I mean, i would like to put $15, but yeah right lol

    I usually put any when applying to retail type places...it tells them that you just want a job...then depending on you experance they will give you more if they choose to hire you.

    I got a boy that has been working there for a while and he says he gets paid bout 8.25.... good luck dude....depending on the branch, they can take a long ass time to call you for a job....very thorough(sp?) background check....

    Ah ok. Im applying at the one in oakwood. They had a hiring sign in the window. I just did the 80 question survey today and am almost done with the application.

    Your best best from what ive seen when i went to autozone for parts is to atleast have a word with the main manager...shows that you really want to work and ready to start...they have a say in who they hire at their store(corporate office has to approve)Also can speed up the "wait time"...

    Yeah i already talked to the manager and he asked what hour i was available and all that and he seemed fine with it so i gave me the application and survey to fill out.
