    IMO, it's a great idea because the boosting of border patrol recruitment failed....I know you all saw those commercials a few weeks back....but anyways it's a good way to use the resources that we already have available. Alot of the guys in the National Guard take it as a joke and even when they goto drill 1 weekend a month are pathetic. So, this would be good training for patrol exercises and enforcement so that if their unit is called up to goto Iraq, they won't be walking around like lost little kids on what to do.

    If any of them are complaining...well then, all those months of paying them for doing jack squat at drill they should have no problems paying that back. Heaven forbid them actually having to work for some money.
