in the civilian world, it's if you feel your life is in danger, you have the right to defend yourself by whatever means that you have.
i believe we've brought this up in the thread about that guy at barrett gettin his ass kicked but GA is still trying to pass the "stand your ground" law, which would make things really interesting as far as when u feel like u might be in danger and being able to lawfully act in a way as to protect urself (or even others).
