I guess when I typed that I should have been a little more specific. You can shoot them more than once if they continue after you, but if you shoot them multiple times and don't give them a chance to stop, its murder. You can't just cap them for coming at you.

If you tell a cop you shot someone rapid fire, your in trouble!

Your best bet is to shoot them once and see if they stop, if they do call the po po. If they don't stop, shoot them again in the other knee and see if that stops them.

The law says you are to try and "stop" them with one shot by wounding them, but if they continue to pursue you then you can continue firing. Ask any cop or read the law. I was given some nice literature to read when I got my CW permit.

Either way, we don't know the full story here so I won't assume this guy did this or that.

wow, he really, really, really had a shitty ass lawyer.

IF it happened just as you explained...it's pretty cut and dry that he was defending himself. Regardless if the attacker was killed or not because a good lawyer to argue the fact that he was on his backside and wrestling the man and had to get a shot off in order to save his own life.

I think there is more to story and we are just getting a biased story.
