del Sol has as much in common with a civic as a crx.. they were badged as civic del Sols for the first two years of production to boost US sales. Technically it's a crx. Sols actually share more pieces with tegs than civics.
I never said I wasn't proud of her. I am. I was saying I'm not foolish enough to be too proud to be honest about her condition. I'm not gonna say I have a slick, finished whip when I don't. She's coming together really nicely, and as soon as she gets a coat of paint and a bit of bodywork she'll be done... and sick... She's just being done from the inside out. I'd rather have a car with dents and dings that is running right and has a fully completed swap in it than an automatic D16 hidden under a $2500 paint job. She's not ugly... there ain't an ugly del Sol in this world... she just ain't pretty yet.
And I claim full rights to the term riding my nuts... I've been saying it since like 7th grade. (In School Suspension here I come!)
