It's shitty for the first week or so, but then you get to enjoy life and not live it like a bum. Also today was the last day of class and Im not taking summer classes so there is no stress ahead to make me grab some beer and relapse again, so this summer I should try and quit for good.
If you have a room mate, he/she could help you through it by not letting you drink at all then taking you out somewhere and have some good sober fun.

P.S. I know someone who went through the same thing as you and it worked.
