I know one time I took a used car back. If i remember correctly, the lawyer we contacted said I had 24 hours. I took it back, gave them the keys, and had no problems. They may try to tell you different but contact a lawyer or someone that knows and be confident about your decision as long as it's backed up by the law...

You sign contract - you own.

No buyers remorse on cars. The dealer may help you out, but they do not have to.

Check the contract you signed, They usally will show the days allowed on the back of that. Every dealership is different on how many days and mileage.

3 days on real estate and mortgages, or items which people come to your house and solicit (door - to - door salesmen). If you go to a retail establishment to purchase the 3 day rule does not apply.

I'm sure they'll take it back (You'll just have to pay the difference in what it cost you, and what its trade in value is now).

    Which will be about $6K.

you CANNOT take a car back once you sign the contrat. once you drive it off of the lot it is yours no matter what (unless there is something seriously wrong and the dealership agrees to take it back). If you just leave it at the dealership and tell them that you dont want it anymore the dealership can take legal action against b/c you are not making payments on the vehicle or they can just let it be repo'd and you still pay for it.
