I thought about applying with them at one time. I have a certificate from Dekalb Tech for Telecommunications Service and Operations, but they were laying off like crazy at the time so I passed on it.
Strangely they still hire techs through the layoffs, we've already had about 3 new people in our office this year alone.. I think its because DSL is becoming more and more popular.
