    Default Alcatel Modem problems

    its stops receiving after a 1 minute of connection. I wa looking at the diagnostics and it will go down to 0kb receiving. However when i download somehting it will keep downloading the file although it wont go to any other websites.(weird) If i disconnect and reconnect it will work again, then after 1 min it will stop receiving and i have to repeat to get a page to load. This sucks when trying to post or look at nekkid girls.

    Any help?

    naw its a dsl modem thats connects through USB and a phone line. the modem itself must be broken. bellsouth is coming out tomorrow. i have tried everything.

    hmmm crappy modem maybe, do you have more computers on a network? see if they work still.

    Its blue right? We dont even support those modems any more, I'm pretty sure they'll replace it with a westell when they come out. Some technicians will bill you for it, others wont it just depends on who you get.
