i've rode in dan's car a couple of times and it is very fast, a little to laggy for me, but hey thats just my opinion. I may be about to get flamed, but I think a porsche is in a completely different league than the STi, this coming from a STi owner. If you doubt me, look at the porsche's hertiage, compared to subaru's. No matter how many aftermarket parts we add to our cars, the porsche will still be a better designed car, period.

I wasnt at all trying to make any specific comparisons, Im just using examples. I know what the STI limitations are, and no its not as well designed as a Porsche. That wasnt the point here. But with the right parts, it (and many other cars) can be made to perform as well as a Porsche or an exotic, for much less money overall.

What are you talking about? Thats a normal 997 carrera s. I already said it was really wet on that run, but thats irrelevant. We arent discussing that car.

I wish that STI was mine. Mine is stock, although Id be glad to take it up to N. Georgia mountains and see whats what. I just got it last month, so I havent had time to really see what it can do.
