if you wanan talk about building a VQ.. that's the kind of crazy i like. the FB rx7 LS1 craze is enough of the LS1 lol
building a VQ for boost? or is that secret, I understand if it is.

How about throw in a VH45DE, V8 from the Q45. The VQ35 is a waste of money to build IMHO, but hey, it's your car.

FB's with LS1's! Fuck that, can you say "No traction whatsoever!"? Maybe you meant the FD's with LS1's. If so, don't worry, I got an FD (93 RX7) and it will remain rotary-powered!

I might throw my LS1 in a non-turbo 90-96 300ZX (Z32). Why? well,
1. the engine bay is large enough to perform the basic maintenance procedures (unlike the FD LS1 swaps with no room to get in).

2. It is large enough (wheelbase, width, weight) to maintan traction when you are throwing down 500-600 RWHP, please correct me if I am wrong anywhere in this post, but I am not.

3. I just wanna see people's faces when they race my "non-turbo" Z and get their asses handed to them!

So what you think? I like it, and as soon as I am done building my FD, I will build the LS1 Z32!
