    I just ran across this...

    "Bugatti claims that if a Mclaren F1 and a Veyron drag raced, the F1 could reach 125 mph before the Veyron sets off and would still get beat to 200 mph!"

    You do have to remember that the first F1 rolled out of the factory in 1991. No car will ever replace it, no matter how fast they get.

    hrmm...Mclaren F1 zero to 120 in 8.8 seconds and 0 to 200 in 27.8 seconds

    27.8- 8.8 = 19.8 BUT still have to subtract for that extra 5 miles p/hr from 120-125 so i'm guessing 125 to 200 can be achieved in about 18.0-18.5 seconds.

    SOooo...Bugatti claims the Veyron can do ZERO to 200 in under 18 seconds...?

    Umm, I don't think that the 5mph difference (120 vs. 125) equals 1.8 seconds!!! Your math is mesed up there.

    EDIT: I just noticed your mistake...27.8-8.8 = 19.0 Let's say 9sec to 125 and then you have 27.8-9 = 18.8 seconds for the Veryon to do 0-200 in.

    So, will the Veryon do 0-200 in 18.8 sec???

    1000hp, 922 lb-ft torque, 4160 lbs, AWD, 265's on front and 365's on rear, with a 7 speed DSG???? Well, I don't know but I wouldn't bet against it!!!
