    I'm a newer member on IA and I have a huge fucking complaint. I'm tired of all of these people geting on the for sale threads and trying to lowball everyone without even seeing what they have to offer in person. If you don't like the price but you like the item then set up a meeting and take a look at the merchandise before you start making offers. If you don't like the price keep fucking looking.

    They lowball because some people go for it and just sell it for that price. If everyone on here met up wtih everyone to look at the product they have for sale, it would be a waste of time because they would just low ball them there too.

    then we proceed to give offers after we see pics. i think you can make an educated offer based on pics. meeting in person is not necessary

    The process of selling includes negotiations. If you don't want people to make offers put that in your post. Just because someone makes you an offer doesn't mean you have to accept it, or they don't have a job. Even if you put it in the Autotrader, people will never offer your asking price as their first offer.
