    Default Immigration Question

    I have a friend that needs to get a green card so that she can be come a legal resident. I want to help her out in anyway that I can but I don't know where to start. Does anyone know where I should start or can give me any direction?

    na she doesn't have a student visa, that was my first idea was to get her one of those. her n her mom want to be here...

    i thought about the marrige thing and i dont know if i can do that one...i have a girl already lol. if i didn't i'd definitly do it...she's a really nice person and she doesn't need to go back to mexico.

    find her a husband then... lol.... i think she has to be married for 2yrs and then she's set


    if u do it the legit way... that shit takes like 5-10 years really

    You need to talk to a lawyer asap...try the yellow pages....or talk to a lawyer that you know and see if they can recommend someone

    on Mexico's office national web site they have pointers on how to the in the US and stay here.

    but I would recommend the lawyer route.

    how long has she been in the US ?
    has she been working and getting paid by check ?
    has she ever done tax before ?
    cause in this country tax is everything ..
    after 3 more years of tax filing im gunna go apply as citizenship ..

    It's not just cut and dry get married to a citizen anymore. I have a lot of family that has come over to the States. They changed a lot of the rules about marrying a US citizen. There's a bunch more hoops to jump through, and if they doubt you for one second, they'll deport her.

    The best way is to get an immegration lawyer and go from there.

    through marriage that is .. didnt work out bad relationship ..
    it would take awhile for her mom to get citizenship ..

    i know a route would be for me to become her sponsor and that is on the table but then my finaces would be into question and i really dont want a lot of people knowing how much i make because then mf's have their hands out for hand outs nah mean? i mean i know that my friends woudln't but if my fam found out all hell would break loose...
