QD didn't chop that, and no there wouldn't be much blood before the turbine...maybe a little impact blood but certainly not an arterial spray and at 900-1,000+mph or so there probably wouldn't be anything noticeable left on it.

yeah well if a human ran into that engine at any rate of speed it would also basically trash the engine and there'd likely be big flames shooting out the rear. those things are tough but not against a 150+lb object running into it at high speed while in flight

you're right, the top speed of a 747 is about 604mph...too bad that's not a 747 though (name of image) ...but I did know the top speed of a four engine jet that size was about 100 mph below Mach 1 but for some stupid reason I was thinking the speed of sound was like 1k-1,100. 1,100/700...hey it rhymes? Actually it's closer to 740 or 760 if you could go that fast at sea level.

The cruising speed is around 550mph so it's still way above the 400 mark.

Yeah, I recently took a flight on the 747 and we hit 600mph with a 45mph tail wind. We mostly cruised at about 575mph.

some things can be so unrealistic it's funny...just like the old western movies when the guy with the 6 shooter is still firing after 8 or 10 rounds or when when someone cocks their rifle or shotgun more than once...

I simply clarified who not the creator of that image, wasn't even directed towards anyone but who thought otherwise and I was the 3rd or 4th person to criticize the picture yet my post seems to be the only one you see, not including the ones after me...sometimes being a little more realistic or believable is humorous or maybe just if anybody else in this world had posted it.
