Pretty much. I mean looking at crate motors their like 3700 and i think i could prolly get them a little cheaper seeing as how demon makes the carbs for chevy/gm crate motors. the only real downfall i see to building such an old car is havin to eventually bite the bullet and fully restore it. i mean isntead of having to replace little shit here and there.

But the difference there is that if you build a car that is woth something, ss chevelles, late 60's camaros, 55-57 chevy bel airs, etc. The money you invest in them you can get back out easily. The older cars might require more work but you can't just go to the dealership and buy one. It is an investment that if done right can yeild most of your money back if you decide to sell it. Now grant it this does not apply to newer muscle cars but the older ones.
