    Well, techinically a 964 turbo = 965

That includes all 964 years. When you turbo a 964, it becomes a 965, although many call it a 964T, still.

    '91-'92 = 3.3L
    '93+ = 3.6L

Bad Boys had a 1994 3.6L single 964 turbo (965/turbo 2 is the official name).

    965/Turbo 2

The 911 Turbo also found a new home in the 964 model and is often known by its model number 965 and also as the Turbo 2 model. Unlike the Carrera models however the Turbo cars were only available in two wheel drive and two different engine sizes were available during its production run.

The 1991/92 Turbos used broadly the same 3.3 litre Turbocharged engine as on the previous model, although minor changes gave a useful power boost to 320bhp. In 1993 a 3.6 litre engine replaced the 3.3 and the power rose to 360bhp. The rarest and most powerful 965 Turbo, the racetrack ready 380bhp Turbo S of 1992 was based on the 3.3 engine and only produced in very limited numbers

964 production officially ended in late 1993 but production continued until 1994 for the US market

there's two 964 turbos, when it was first introduced they only had the 3.3 engine available...then i think it was 2 years later they had a turbo 3.6 made, calling it the 964 turbo II.

I wasn't sure if they were calling the turbo II a 965 so you knew it was the 3.6L turbo and not the 3.3.

    *edit*
    ah, you just answered it

I want a 993TT so bad, although nothing compares to blasting down the florida backroads in a 996 gt3 cup car .

They were still called the 965, however, even in the 3.3L if I remember correctly (which was '91-92).

Also, apparently the 6 speed tiptronic model will be faster than the manual, because it works with the variable turbos better.
