In all my life experience I have realized that there is only one thing that matters.. And that is your individual happiness. That said, If you are involved with someone be it best friend or lover and they get in the way of your search for happines than cut them off.

In the end, we are all alone. It is most important to stay true to yor own wants and neeeds and not worry about making anyone else happy..

I guess basically what I am trying to say is do whatever makes you happy..... If you do not want to be romantically involved with your best friend than dont, and If you want to date other people than do it.. Regardless of whos feelings you hurt along the way! compromising your self happiness so another can sleep at night is moronic! And if the roles were reversed would you get the same from the other?? probably not. Your best friend, if he had the chance would get with whomever he wants given the chance..

I completely agree. Making yourself happy first comes before anything else. I have learned this and try to tell other people. Its always sad to see girls and other people get hurt because they are doing things for other people and not themselves. I realized awhile ago, who cares what other people think of you?

I don't really know what to tell you Tiff but only you can make that decision. If you think he is the one for you then I would continue and try to work it out. But if he cheated on you twice then what makes you think he won't do it again? I read what other people said that he is a great guy and all, so then what makes him cheat? Im sorry that this happened to you twice but the best thing I can tell you is do what you think is right. Don't let anyone else's opinion influence yours. Just do what makes you happy even if that means trying to work things out with this guy.
