I'm defensive about my car to a certain extent, however, I'm smart enough to recognize that it is slow, however, I have raced it, I have won and I have lost... the integra thing is different, most people who actually have a lot of stuff done will lie about what they have and sandbag. but he was telling someone he already had a swap which put him at the top of the mod ladder (well for j bodies that is). telling someone you just have a v6 mustang but really you can a blown 5.0 is a little different because you have the shit to back up your "lie"

^^^ its not our problem you drive slow domestic compact cars The cavalier is and has ALWAYS been a piece of shit. even the Z24 or Z34 whatever it is, they were OK, but no where neear as reliable or as fast as a CIVIC SI or GSR. and they always had shitty plastic interiors.

The cobalt, while its cool they offer them with boost, is NOT anything to be bragging about. they make what an RSX makes ALL MOTOR. so where is the "technoligical genious" behind it? i dont see it.

the only domestic 4 banger i have respect for is the SRT4, dodge got it right on that one.

beating a 190HP Mustange V6, is nothing to brag about. thats like filling your tankl with gas, its, well, its something every car can do, you just dont brag about it.

$18,000 car with warranty
with BOLT ons it can make 300whp EASY
with major bolt ons (turbo and manifold) can make 420whp+

factory performance upgrades (mopar stage 1-3)

for 18K , theres hardly a faster car out there for the price tag.

Coilovers- Basic Damper part #DSG90-LUSS2 says only for '00-04 but they also fit the '05 no difference in the entire chassis from '00-'05, '05 being the last production year for the Cavalier taken over by the Cobalt
who dynoed- K&D performance in Acworth mainly do old hot rods. Kermit Harper and David Parris (my uncle) are the owners.
Install- at K&D customs by my self, Kermit Harper, David Parris, Graig "McFly" Bucell (has a silver Nissan Altima won 3rd at Nopi, ALWAYS on Barrett, works in car audio at Circuit City)
Tuning- Not yet, had it on the dyno just to see what i put down.
Where i got it- A guy had one in West Virginia for 3 weeks and 2 days and wrapped it around a tree, i picked it up from a junk yard for $3785.48
Install- cobalt+cavalier chassis, which the cobalt is based off of= easy as shit install
Pics and dyno printout- wheni get back in town ill get them from K&D and show them to you personally
Oh and please show me where i can buy a Jackson Racing Supercharger for a 2.2 ECOTEC because as far as i know they dont make one, for any cavalier motor for that matter, the 2.0 ECOTEC/ 2.2 ECOTEC/ or the 2.4
