just as long as this country is ran by republicans then pot will still be against the law. Ive realized that most democrats are pretty leanient on marijuana laws. Bush was a drunk and no one cared....Clinton hit weed once (or so he says) and the country was in outrage. If john Kerry were are president today the marijuana laws wouldnt be as strict....he was actually for spending american money for the research and development for medcinal use of it, Bush is spending our tax paying money outlawing it but id say just because marijuana has proven medcinal purposes......
