I have been like this before I even knew what straight edge was. I had never even heard about it until one of my friends asked if I was and asked him what that was and he told me.

hmm, I thought "Straight Edge" was a group that cleaned up neibhoorhoods. got the gangs out and drugs too. Looks like I was mistaken.
