I can vouch for you on this one. I've never really understood them much either, but I think a lot of them have members who are into show. When it comes to building a car show is always the last thing on my mind, probably why I don't care if my car is ugly. I can understand the whole, make friends, have friends with you at shows concept, cause when I went with Elite to HIN Orlando I had a blast, without even knowing every one there all that well.

As far as actual car clubs go, I tried to get into a local car club called intense illusions about 3 years ago when I had my Sentra. I was broke and just wanted to hang out with my friends Josh and Phong when they went to meets, considering they were the people I was probably hanging out with anyway.

My cars have always preformed better than they look, and until I come across a car "club" that holds "all go, no show" in as high esteem as I do, I think I'll be riding solo.
