daytona is more of family vacation place now.
as for cops, well, its small little town with high crime = lotta cops.
pays to have friends who work for the volusia's finest.
driving on the beach sux b/c it's not long as it use to be.
the pier sux b/c they never rebuild it
gocart place is fun but that drag car ride is like $$$
hilton is now the old adams mark hotel
they got pretty nice nite spot for casual and clubbing(for a small town)
food is cheap. -ale house, you can eat drink all night and still have money for a cab.
city hate black people. back in BCR days they always have road construction during BCR on a1a

...daytona beach is great place to be during non season(D500, bike, BCR, spring brk, p400, bike). cheap hotels, good food, great beach, and on and on. if you want to party go to Miami. If you want to chill with fam/gf or whatever DB is great
