it's fucking january, what do you expect? lmao... err, excuse me, FEBRUARY as of 24 minutes ago...
theres 2 main types of grass down here, bermuda and fescue (i think thats them) but one of them turn brown or ugly ass color during the winter and the other one stays green all year long.
you never heard of yellow snow?... same principle.
werd yo, us country boys aren't sophesticated enough for them outhouses... we just let it go right in the yard. yeehaw.Originally Posted by RandomGuy

the ugly ass yellow grass is what looks the best during the spring and summer...the bold green as you see on golf courses, lawns done with sod, etc. I prefer fescue bc it does stay green year round and if maintained properly it can be just about as thick and soft as bermuda.Originally Posted by ReCkLe5s

We need a break from cutting grass in the winter (when its yellow its not growing).
Bermuda is a much hardier heat and drought tolerant grass than fescue. To keep fescue alive when its dry and 98°F is difficult at best. You need to constantly water it. And I second the sentiment on needing a break from grass cutting!
