there is an HOV lane, it comes up very soon after that ramp comes on, to get to that lane you have to be with traffic (70-75)

the people coming from 316 are going at most 65 when they merge, 10mph is a huge difference to have to slow down for changing lane, i mean if worst comes to worst, then stay in right lanes and then stay in the middle of the freeway after passing most of the people frorm 316, hopefully fined a free spot and then merge, but then you get causght in more slow ppl and Pleasant hill traffic

    problems with that junction:

    316 entering on left
no entering HOV when its solid
    traffic is still going about 75 on 85S v 60 for 316

I understand perfectly,, But why can't you slow down is what Im asking if you already know whats ahead?

Is easier to slow down coming down 85s as you aproach that area of congestion then trying to speed up with only 2 lanes going into one from to 316 to 85s

its just a really effed up junction

but most the people get by it okay

still that 2% that are mostly new drivers and women (lol, jp, asian women (jp AznTraitor)) would greatly benefit by changing the intersection
