    Now I dont need a permit to own this right? I think when I bought mine today they register it with the state showing I own that gun with that serial # right? As far as a permit is that only if I plan to conceal it and carry it on me?

    Dont think they register it, Just do a background check.. But im not sure on that. No permit needed to own a gun.

    And permit is needed only to conceal it on you...

    Dizzle said if I dont have a concealed permit if I have it in the car it must be in plain view, I cant keep it in the glove box?

    Yah, But you can have a little more freedom with the license then no license..

    read packing.org, Thats what I did and you will learn everything you need to know and do .. .
    I followed Ruiner's advice read it and went from there.

    Thanks, I just didnt know if there was a difference between a permit and a license. Again sorry for all the dumb questions, I just have never owned one and I rather be safe then sorry.
