    Default Goodbye abuelita :(

    So I get a call Saturday morning, from my grandmothers house.. my mom told me my great grandmother passed away in her sleep last night.

    She was 97 and in great health, but the last 5-6 years she was being sent back and forth from here and Mexico between my grandmother and her sister, I honestly think she wasn't being taken care of very well over there. She was supposed to come back here Nov 15th, but she had a kinda bad fall and ended up staying, she couldn't really walk and stopped eating.. My grandparents/mom/related family are headed to Houston for some family there, then down to Mexico tomorrow morning, the funeral is on Monday. kinda messed up the weekend, I've been chillin with my grandmother all day and having deep thoughts on life etc..

    My grandmother went the same way. She died in her sleep last year!! This is how I looked at it, she was not in a hospital hooked up to machines. she was in her bed with family near by. Good luck man, I will keep you and your family in my prayers!!

    Im in the same boat, I want to go and See my granda ma in the Dominican republic before she passes, Shes 89 and been having some health issues over the past 1 year or so..
