No shop is perfect and can please everyone unfourtunatly.. but I've heard very little bad about BG...

Yeah I'm cool here, no hard feelings. I've heard quite a few complaints...actually a lot of the complaints had to do with things not being bolted together (ie missing or stripped bolts) which....to me just shows they rushed and did a half-assed job. Because they do have fast cars which means they are capable of doing some good work, but then on customer cars, they do half assed jobs.

Tracy you don't know what your talking about, if there was anything knowledgeable you posted on here, it was only because someone at the shop told you what to write.
Chris what happened to me was I need someone to drill and tap my manifold to turbo bolts (I didn't have the tools) so I took the car there. They took 4 hours to do the work!! Come on now, 4 hours to drill and tap 4 bolts?! After I left they told me that the gasket had fallen apart and that I should replace it....ok easy enough, take the bolts out slide the gasket in put the bolts back in. Well I managed to get a couple bolts out and they were smooth (I mean no more threads). Basicaly they just tapped it wrong, okay so now I missed being able to partcipate in the import showdown (this happened the day before). So I took some bolts with me to the import showdown and talked to Tracy. She cut me off mid sentence accusing me of causing the problem (there were quitea few people around who saw her attitude). So I ended talking with Dan who at first was willing to fix his mistake (and admit it) which was cool with me....I held no bad feelings toward them yet. So I brought in the turbo and manifold off the car. But then Dan makes another mistake and broke the water line on the turbo. Okay well he admits fault again and trys to do a temp weld job and tells me he'll order a new part....ok, irritated but still no hard feelings. The temp. weld job Dan did didn't hold up and it was leaking coolant (obvioulsy not healthy for the turbo). So I couldn't drive the car (btw this is my only car). 3 weeks go by and they had ordered the wrong part 2 different times. Another week goes by and the part comes in on a friday....the guy at the desk tells me Dan won't work on it today because he is too busy. Keep in mind it takes 30mins max to change this piece. So when I ask to talk to Dan, the guy tells me NO! Dan wouldn't come out to talk with me nor would he allow me back there to talk to him. So the next best thing was to wait for Tracy to get from lunch....no, that wasn't really a good idea either she only came back to refuse to fix the mstake at all (at least Dan said come back monday). But would you be willing to wait until monday after havin your car down due to a series of their mistakes for a 1 1/2 months?! So I said fuck it went home to do it myself....only to find out that yet again (for 4th time) Batlgrounds ordered the wrong part again.

First of all, I don't work on any cars and 2nd of all you caught me off guard cuz I had no idea what you were talking about. We aren't at the shop remember???? How in the heck am I supposed to know who you are and what you are referring to???? I don't remember exactly what was said between us, but I do remember the way you came at me about something that I had no knowledge about. AND YOU KNEW I DIDN'T KNOW CUZ THEN YOU SAID I WASN'T THERE THAT DAY! Maybe you should check your tone of voice before you speak to others. You have to give respect to recieve it

Dan wouldn't come out because he was tuning a car with a customer. He doesn't have to come out..he's the boss. He has a whole line of people that do their job that he gives them. Try to go to Kroger and ask to speak to the owner at your convenience and you will get a whole chain of command before you get to him. Joey and I told you exactly what Dan would have told you because that's what HE told US to tell YOU!

Remember the first mistake was yours on the stripped bolts. We went out of our way to try to help you with no appointment. We gave you the benefit of the doubt that we made a mistake on tapping the bolts and took another 4 hours to fix it for free at your convenience and on your time schedule (the bolts were tapped right when you left...how they got cross threaDED AGAIN, WE DON'T KNOW...BUT WE FIXED IT AGAIN ANYWAYS. btw, how did they get cross threaded the first time you brought them in????).

There are 2 sides to every story. You tell yours and I'll tell mine. It doesn't really matter in the end because we both know what happened and anyone else that you or I tell is only getting the side that we want people to hear. Smart people understand that. We haven't been in business 5 years by messing up people's cars...smart people know that

It's cool, B. Relax! I appreciate your concern, tho. Some of it did happen, just not the way he says. Like I said, there are 2 sides to every story. A lot of people don't like me because I have to give all of the bad news. When that's your job, people get out of line and I have to deal with them the best I know how. No one likes to hear their bill or that their car has bad compression or your parts are on back order. That's my job and then it's comming from a female, no less. I understand why people get upset and I do my best. That's all I can do. I have a high profile and It's my own damn fault...I know this! I didn't know when I was making it. I was just being my sassy little self. Now my life is like the enquirer and I did it to myself. Now I just deal with it and move on.

My car (daily driver used to get to and from work) was down for a month because it had no coolant running to the turbo due to that "small hole".

Funny I went in, ordered the part, and came out with the right part in only one try. It's kinda odd that every time I went in to pick up the part from your shop, Dan or Joey would ask me if it was the return or feed line.

I said (more or less) "Tracy you guys did some work on my car and didn't tap the bolts correctly". You snapped told me I should have talked to Brandon because he probably worked on my car. At the time I didn't know who Brandon was (he wasn't there that day). However when I told you that Mike worked on my car, you told me mike doesn't work on cars alone....so some guy you don't trust to work on a car did work to my car, thanks!

Well Tracy, you being the knowledgeable mechanic that you are, I'd think you'd understand that 11 year old bolts attached to something as hot as a turbo are going to weaken over time. But maybe you can explain how brand new grade 9 bolts do that?

yeah, it makes me want to vomit all over this business sometimes. you work so hard and break your neck to make someone happy, then they flame you on an internet board for no reason. i love when people say "it only takes this long to do it". then why take it to a shop, if your such and expert, do it yourself. hell we have taken 3 hours to put springs on before because it was an awkward car and we made sure everything was done right before it was realeased. shit happens in this business, nothing you can do about it.

oh well......life goes on.
