I had Subway for lunch today right... and I got a 6 inch sub cause the foot long is just a little bit too much for me.. (you'd never know I was talking about a sub if I didnt say Subway, huh?) but yeah.. so I finished the whole 6 inches right.. and I was still hungry. So I was thinking next time I will just get a foot long, right? Wrong, cause #1 - I'll eat it all and end up being overstuffed from eating too much and then if we went further in time with a habit of this we'd be talking weight gain and all other kinds of ish... or #2 - I'd not finish it all and feel bad for throwing away food or wasting money. Plus I just really only wanted like 2-3 more bites to just really satisfy my hunger cause it was just that good, lol

So yeah back to the point... So I started thinking that it would be really neat if you could order a 9 inch sub... or a 6 inch sub a little extra long but not a foot long, lol... so I mentioned this to a co-worker right and she brought up a good point.. she said then I would still be technically wasting food cause they would be throwing out the other 3 inches.. I was like well damn.. but then I thought, actually that possibly could be saving Subway money technically.. cause the 3 inches left over is actually about the size of the kids sandwich... so they could actually go on to use it for the kids.. and then hey what if someone came along and was like "The 6 inch kinda overfills me.. do you have a 3 inch" and then they could be like "Actually, Yes we do"

But yeah anyways.. thats just my thought for the day... now back to you regularly scheduled programming, lol

woah, I guess great minds think alike. I have always wondered that and felt the same way after eating a 6" sub. Quiznos have three different sizes, I belive and they have either an 8" or 9" and that hits the spot.

Next time just go to Quizno's. It'll taste better, and it a 6" will fill you up since they are not stingy with the toppings like subway.

Yeah.. but their bread is too hard and crunchy.. I prefer it on the softer side... But there are times when I am in the mood for the toasted, more crunchy bread too though...

i can't stand subway and quizno's...much rather just spend $3 on a roast beef & swiss or cuban sandwich from Publix if i'm not near a real cuban deli. Then some italian places/pizzzeria's have much better subs for the same price as the franchises mentioned above.
