We did the same thing (letter to entire nieghborhood) this past summer when my wife forgot to lock her car and all of her cd's (about 1000) were stolen. Come to find out the little bastards hit about 20 cars in the nieghborhood. My wife learned a valuable lesson - always lock your car no matter what. My next door nieghbor actually found all three cd cases behind thier a/c unit several months later. That was good, bad thing is we made a claim on our insurance for them-oops! lol

I hate punk ass kids! If I ever find out who did it I would press charges for sure. Either that or hang them by thier toenails. Either way they would loose.
