We ordered 2 new laptops for me and Leisa over the weekend. They showed a ETA to ship on the 28th and deliver on the 30th. Well they shipped today!! So we will have them Thursday!! WHOOO HOOO

Atif they are 1.4ghz with 15", Internal wireless, 40g HD, XP Home, Combo Drive, etc.. all the usaul stuff

Was $499 each with a free printer and free upgrade to internal wireless so we got both for just over $1,000 with tax and free 2 day shipping. This was a weekend sale they had )

Yeah my HP has been nothing but 2 years of trouble, I will NEVER buy a HP again. My screen on the HP flickers sometimes and I have to bang it fo rit to come back to normal so I said screw it, Time for new laptops, and leisa's desktop is old so we got her a laptop to )

Thats awesome. I just got mine about 6 months ago. and it comes on and off. Cant see 1 damn thing. I had some cheap hp setup as y first compute and it never gave me problems. LOL i have my laptop hooked up to my old hp monitor. I have a 1 yr warrenty so im going to get it fixed soon for free.

hey brett be careful with dells, i've heard bad things about them from guys at work, they are said to be some of the forst to fix if shit happens to them

lol BIOS spyware? wtf? And if there was some sort of malicious code in the bios, how hard is it to flash

Most boards you can just set it in the BIOS menu to flashable, then boot from a flash CD... and ur done... but i strongly doubt its BIOS spyware you're talking about?...

I don't know where you heard that from... but Dell laptops are probably the easiest I've ever taken apart to repair. Even then, about 95% of our clients all use Dell laptops and we haven't had trouble with any of them.

I second that. I've worked on Dell, Compaq, HP, Toshibas, and IBM's for over 5 years. Hands down Dell has been the easiest to work on, and has better support (premier wise). Home support isn't that great (have to get thru India first).

ive had my dell inspiron 8600 laptop for 3 years now. its a lil more upgraded than what you've ordered, but you got yours for a 1/3 of the cost so that's good. the only problem i've had on mine was the combo drive was loud as shit so i replaced it but thats it. hope your turns out a well as mine has.

Ours shipped 8 days early!! HA HA They said online expected was 12/28 and we would have it 12/30. Well we get it shipped early and overnight ( Not in 2 days ) lol

my desktop started to crap out about 2 months ago...my girlfriend got me a Dell Inspiron 2200 laptop for a birthday present...about the price you are saying with the free printer...no problems so far...just alot of preloaded stuff that took hours to get rid of...lol...
