because chucks mom was like "yeah its for this number, but dont cancel her service or change it, im just buying her a phone for xmas"


they go "ok, sure" and put everything in the system. and then your automated email system sees that there is a new purchase..and then it does its job of sending out that email saying thank you.

interesting, seems like a multi-billion dollar company would have a gift e-mail...like a gift reciept and you could either schedule when the e-mail is to be sent or an option not to send it at all
