It's not priced with an s2k. The redline version will basically have the same numbers as the ion redline/cobalt ss. I'd rather have the base one and turbo that bitch myself, cause you know it's gonna be pretty light. Also, it's being put out as an upscale alternative to the pontiac solstice. RWD, light, convertible, I think I smell more of a Miata competitor.
Its kinda mr2ish looking, not that that is bad.

it's supposed to be just a hair over 2800 pounds and have 50/50 weight distribution..

Yeah Saturn is going in a great direction. We went last night and looked at the ION Redline, The new ones have a full body kit, etc and it was pretty damn sexy. Add to that the 205 Supercharged horses and 200 pounds of torque and they have a winner with that one as well.

i would think that it would be the other way around, that the pontiac solstice would be the higher priced alternative... which in gm land means rebadged car.
in any event, both look good from the pictures on the 'net.
for those who like the solstice, there's supposed to be a "sneak peak" of it on this thursday's apprentice.

It doesnt use the solstice chassis, it uses the opel/vauxhall speedster chassis, which is classed with the lotus, and will prob do donuts around a s2k and miata..
