I know someone selling his running LS2 setup, complete with harness, ECU, etc, but it is an auto, not a T56.

do you have an idea how much he would want without the tranny... if he is willing to part it out?

I don't know the price, but I know that he said that he was selling it as a complete package.

I prefer a ls2... It must have a t56 though. I always thought these motors were easy to find. apparently not.

Good luck on finding an ls2 with a t56. Be prepared to spend a lot of money. Don't forget the harness, ECU, etc. - you will want all of it.

^^ you should sell the Benz before trying LS swap.

There is a company in Cumming that builds badass LS motors with the front sump pan on it for swaps. 2800 and it is nicely built.

I have sold a few ls1 swaps in the past. They are not cheap like honda parts you will pay about 1000$ bucks more with a t56 they are highly sought after I have been holding on to a camaro t56 for 5 years now for my next project i have turned down 1k offers for it! Honestly I would do a lq9 and swap the intake manafold to a ls1/ls2 style but you would still need the front accessories. Also a automatic 4l80e with a few mods will handle almost any amount of power you throw at it!

The motor is acting up on it and I took it to a shop and they are asking +$2000 to fix it, so right now its just yard art

3 of the pistons are not working right, misfiring, and did not pass the compression test. Other little things as well, its just a pain in the ass.
