Who here has Charter Cable Internet?
Just wondering cause i've been having problems getting onto IA lately. I can get on every site on the web BUT IA. It's not any kind of IE settings or firewall related problem and I had charter change my IP and still no IA. Charter's answer was this site has a chunk of charter IPs blocked ... so I was wondering who here has Charter?
I have Charter at home and I also have problems getting on.. Esp. yesterday, like all day at the house my roommate couldn't get on but I could while I was at work...

yeah like right now i'm at a buddies place and no problem but before i left my apt there was no way i could get on IA

we don't have any IPs blocked... pm me your IPs and i'll look into it
How do I find that??? I am not on at home... do I have to be home to get that info?

when i get home i'll do that but do you have any clue what the problem might be?
ya when you are at home type start > run > CMD (click ok) > ipconfig (click enter)
it will post up your IP
i'm thinking that charter maybe blocked some IPs from us... b/c i went to them back in march about the idiot that hacked the site was a member of theirs... so i don't know.
Paul, I have Alltel and the same thing happend to me. They said it was something on their end and put me on another DNS server and I was able to get on. Not sure what happed but figured I would let you know that Alltel was doing the same thing.
I have them and they SUCK @ZZRRY!

well i hate charter anyways ... 1 more month and i'll be on Bellsouth ADSL
I have had problems before but have always eventually got on while at home though.. It wasn't until yesterday that I havent been able to eventually get on... It's going on like 2 days now... Why is this a problem just now??

mine has been going in and out for awhile (2 weeks or so) and just this past few days its like i can never get on
well there you go guys... try a new DNS server

you actually have to change it on your computer. If you get a competent tech at Charter then they can walk you through it.
Still doesn't chnage the fact that they SUCK @ZZ Reary!
