Yeah, i asked you to define what "government grounds" are.... because that is where this law is prohibiting protest.

    Seems straight forward to me:

‘‘(1) the term ‘restricted buildings or grounds’ means any
posted, cordoned off, or otherwise restricted area—
‘‘(A) of the White House or its grounds, or the Vice
    President’s official residence or its grounds;
‘‘(B) of a building or grounds where the President or
other person protected by the Secret Service is or will
    be temporarily visiting; or
‘‘(C) of a building or grounds so restricted in conjunc-tion with an event designated as a special event of national
    significance; and
‘‘(2) the term ‘other person protected by the Secret Service’
means any person whom the United States Secret Service is
authorized to protect under section 3056 of this title or by
Presidential memorandum, when such person has not declined
    such protection.’’.

    So, what does this accomplish?

I would imagine preventing any type of protest turned violent situation.

Do you plan on protesting at the White House? Could you ever in recent times? Like I said, it effects nobody for the most part. It in no way bans protesting, freedom of speech, or would even ban any protest I've seen in recent years.

So at best, theyre wasting time and money printing laws that have no effect?

Well obviously they felt the need to update it, like I said, I believe it was originally written in 1971. There are tons of laws both state and federal that really make no sense or just seem silly.

    I win.
