Default The best concealed carry.... state your opinion.

To counter all of these negative gun posts lately with bleeding heart liberals crying out of their vaginas about violence, even though its the cities that are predominantly liberal that all have the highest crime rates, i want to start a thread celebrating our wonderful gun culture here in america. So let the debate begin.....

What is the BEST **********************CONCEALED******************* ******** carry......

    Present your argument.

Here's my carry of choice. Smith and Wesson M&P Shield, fits in your hand like a C cup titty. It's less than an inch thick and only weighs 19 ounces so it's nice and comfortable to carry. holds 8+1 in 9mm or 40

comparison to glock 36, glock on left side.

    Best carry? has my vote....

    Easy. Italian-made Bernardelli-Gardone 22 long-brev auto - a true "concealed carry". As far as I know, it's the smallest .22 ever made.

Here is a video of a 22 short.

there's smaller guns..... but those are too small imo, plus you're giving up a lot of stopping power for size

I love my 10mm Glock 29. Compact but packs a powerful punch. Not too light so its easy to handle yet not too heavy that you notice it all the time.

    Here is my carry

My argument is because I am the most accurate with it out of all of my guns.

Those arn't the rounds I carry though. I use hornady critical defense

I carry a Gen4 Glock 19 and love it. I used to carry a RIA1911 in 45acp but i def prefer the Glock for weight and size. I carry in either a Uncle mikes leather or Black hawk Kydex, and usually carry one extra mag depending on where I am. I feel a 9mm with a P++ hollow point should dis-sway any would be attacker at least after the first few rounds, plus its ultra light and easy from someone my size to carry ( 5' 3" 135lbs).

My choice is my SpringField Armory XD40, its light, compact, holds 12+1. It's fed with Hornady Critical Defense.
I carry it in my Galco IWB

Usually I carry my S&W 457 (.45), even though it's technically a "compact" gun (hardy-har-har) it's a big pistol. But Ima big guy. I can hide a full size "assault" rifle in my belly button alone. So no biggie.

Lately I've been carrying my S&W 5906T (9mm) a lot. Not really sure why I changed myself, other than maybe the extra 8 bullets give me piece of mind I guess...

BTW: If you haven't guessed I'm a sucker for the old S&W steel frames.

^^^ How do you like the Bersa. They seem to be a love and/or hate thing with everyone that I know that has owned one.

Half wouldn't trade it for the world, half you give it to you for a pack of smokes.

I'm guessing you are in the love camp... I've never shot one and am curious how it shoots.

I love my BERSA it has never given me issues and is very reliable. The only complaint I ever herd was with the feed getting stuck in rapid fire. They discovered if you polish it down a little its a fix. I was really surprised with the accuracy and lack of recoil easy to carry and use. I just wish they had a larger Clip size considering most 9mm have larger :/ PS: mine is a OG model made and imported from Argentina so its the most reliable compared to the NJ made ones today.

Polishing ramps should be a must for every gun. It is for all of mine.

This is mine in comparison to my hand. I now have a pinky extension and an extended slide release.

If anyone is curious about how a sub compact 10mm shoots, we can set up something so you can try it.

It was my mom's from the early 80s made by RG Industries. You can pick them up for literally 50 bucks today. I also have my grandmother's gun. I don't know much about it but its a .25 auto and no idea what year it's from. I've been fiddling with it to try and get it reliable but haven't figured out the problem. It has problems with FTE. I should probably try a recoil spring but have followed through.

Once reliable I think it would be a neat BUG.

I'm gonna go to the next gun show hunting a bunch of misc pocket guns. Missed the last few that were in the area. I'd gladly give you $50 for that revolver.

I inherited a box that had about 20-25 pocket guns in it, some good some junk, ended up selling it as a lot. Wish i would have held on to them. Only thing i kept out of the box was a COP derringer, ended up selling that later on though.

I was stating that you can pick up that same revolver at a gun show for $50 bucks. I'm not sure if that was confusing. Pocket pistols, to me, are fun to try to get them to work reliably. As you said a bunch of them are junk. Derringer's just make me nervous with no trigger guard.

yeah. i no trigger guard scares me too. the COP model had one though, it's not really a derringer, i dont even know why its called a derringer.

Gen 3 or 4? I haven't handled the Gen 4 with the new back straps.

The back straps are nice but the rougher texture does wear more on the skin.

My every day carry is a Ruger LCP. I am accurate with it out to about 10 yards. It is quick to draw because of no sharp angles and it it is easy to conceal. I have found myself carrying my G23 gen 3 a lot more lately though. Seems like crime is getting out of hand and I like to have the extra firepower on me.

Off topic a bit, I am looking for a new rifle/range toy. My requirements are simple. I want a rifle, even a bull pup rifle, that is accurate out to about 100 yards. It has to fire a pistol caliber round though. Right now I am thinking about an auto ordinance Thompson or a Vector. Any other ideas? BTW, MP5's are too damn expensive if any caliber other than .22lr. Trying to stay under 1k, but I would go as high as 2k for an NFA rifle.
