I've been carrying my RIA for a year to a year and a half. It's not top of the line 1911 but it's reliable and I've done some work/had some work done to it. Just to "boost" the quality. Actually now that I think about it I have shot the FNH .40 cal. One of my friends bought a used one. I remember I liked the way the trigger felt on my finger, more form fitting I guess. Just the weight messes with my accuracy but that is yet again my problem being so "1911 oriented".Originally Posted by Sinfix_15

The FN is a polymer. The prices on them are insane right now.... over $3k online. I remember it being like a $900-1200 gun. I guess it falls under the ObamaTax too since the "gobberment" doesnt like the 5.7 rounds.
