    Regardless of your age, 10 years should be plenty far back to say I've learned something that I wish I knew earlier.

    For me, it would be to buy a cheap old school rather than a newer 30k car.

    I'm sorry to hear you haven't learned anything car related in the last 10 years. I'm not sure what age has to do with it. I don't think learning should stop at a certain age.
