Default Is I-285's ramp closing this weekend?

I was down in Atlanta yesterday heading to Loganville to look at a car and took exit 259 for 285-E (which according to Google's directions immediately turned into 285-N somehow), anyways I saw a sign saying something about the ramp being closed this weekend. Does anyone know a way around that to get to 78-E? I may be coming back down this weekend with a truck and trailer to get the car I was looking at and I'll be fucked if that ramp is going to be closed and I don't know any other way to get around that.

I don't use GPS, I've seen it fuck up too many people's directions to places. Plus I don't travel enough that Mapquest or Google Maps won't help with.

Nevermind, figured I'd try Mapquest's directions and it said I could go past 259 to exit 251 for I-85 N and it takes me another way in. That way the exit being blocked won't matter.

    Coming from 75...

Take 285 around to Memorial Drive, take a left, follow it down until it dumps you onto 78, go to Loganville

    Or

Take 285 to 85N exit at Jimmy Carter, turn right, after several miles Jimmy Carter turns into Mountain Industrial, keep going until you crossover 78, turn left, go to Loganville

Did you guys miss the whole part of my post saying the fucking sign saying the 285 ramp is going to be closed? How the fuck do you expect someone who's out of town to drive a truck and trailer all through Atlanta just to find an alternate route onto a bypass?

Also, did you see the whole nevermind, I already found an alternate route? Man you guys are such dicks sometimes.

No, I can read, I just found it funny you took the time to jump on here and make a post before just looking at a map and using deductive reasoning.

But yes, we are dicks..Simon can attest.. Because if we were all pussies, nothing would get done lol

If you're going from Atlanta proper out to Loganville (I assume you are), taking 85N/316 and dropping down HWY20 would be a bit of a PITA. Just route yourself to take 78W all the way out from the city.

I do it five days a week. With a much longer truck/trailer combination. (Take out Atlanta and insert other cities).
