I think the vulgarity comes from what you actually think, not what you say. We all know prom is about getting laid. No guy looks forward to going to prom, they want to go straight to the after-prom party at the hotel, get drunk and prematurely ejaculate. So everyone being open and honest is weird, because people are never open and honest.

Deana from Jersey Shore represents everything you hate in life. But you perform those obligations no matter how much you hate them because everyone expects you to. However those obligations (Deana talking) just get keep going on and on and on and on and on, so you shut them up... Just when you think it's safe they continue on and on and on and on until finally you snap and kill her. When you did that, you killed what you think are everyone's expectations of you.

Obviously you're fed up with the status-quo your life has become.
