They don't. It's actually the other way around. Africans make fun of American black people because of a few things. One being their work ethics as a whole. Africans are a hard working people. From their times in villages across the oceans to the time they arrive here. They see a lot of American black people lazing around and trying to live off the government (welfare, EBT, etc.). Africans come over here and struggle to get into the rhythm of a more technologically advanced working nation and they work hard until they can catch the groove. They also do not like that American black people call themselves African Americans. They don't see that as being true as they aren't directly from the continent.
This, of course, does not encompass all black folks and all Africans. This is stuff I've learned over the years of hobnobbing with different cultures of people and how a lot of them feel about other cultures.
