I met e36slide today at C&O and saw his car. He is different than his online persona. He was quite easygoing and understood his progression through previous cars to his current one.
My feeling is that he is a car enthusiast just like everyone else here, and just tends to not have as thick of a skin yet as some of the rest of us that have beenaround a long time.
Oh, and I agree with him that the s13 is probably better for him than the s14 was. His goals and needs seem better aligned with it. The car isn't too rough as some comments made it out to be. Not perfect of course, but I'd daily it with a quickness, or have it as a fun toy.

I'm not surprised by this to be honest. There's no way he's as big of a jackass IRL as he is on this forum.... he wouldnt have lived this long. The guy shows signs of being a decent guy, but those signs are usually buried in a sea of bullshit. I'm sure at some point he will stop wearing his feelings on his sleeves and trying to fight the internet and at that point we'll probably get along fine.

He was a friend of my younger brother and I knew him prior to him having to go through some pretty big challenges early in his adult life. Unlike most he has shown some resilience and a desire to do better. You're right about being thin skinned and quick to lose his temper but that was many of us when we were young. He's actually a good dude that's still just young and a bit immature. Now that doesn't absolve him from all he's done lol but at least he has the ignorance of youth excuse that not everyone on this forum has.

Thread is now over, E36 is a little more daring than I thought.
